Ranking the best centers in the NHL

This is a difficult topic because centers can't be judged on their scoring statistics alone. They have lots of defensive responsibilities, faceoff %, etc.

Here is my list:

1. Johnathon Toews
2. Sidney Crosby
3. Anze Kopitar

You have to put Tyler Seguin in this discussion, no?
He's been unreal this year - his chemistry with Jamie Benn is awesome and he is putting up all kinds of offensive numbers.
Sure Dallas isn;t very good this year, but that's no fault of his own

You forgot Patrice Bergeron from your list. One of my favourite players at the moment.

Yeah Bergeron is really the straw that stirs that Bruin's drink. The team looked lost without him when he was injured.

I'm not sure he's a top-3 center, but he is a perfect fit for that team.
